The application of China Police Clearance Clearance Certificate (PCC for short) requires the following documents.

Required documents for China PCC

  • Passport
  • Accommodation Registration Form
  • Alien Employment Permit or Foreign Expert Certificate
  • Graduation Certificate
  • Power of Attorney

Above documents are required by most of Chinese cities.

But few Chinese cities have their own requirements for documents. Please check our Chinese city list and choose the city to see the specific documents for that city.

The requirements of each document

1. Passport

  • Photo page (If you get new passport afterward, the photo page of the new one is also required)
  • Passport Number page (old passport might have passport number on seperate)
  • All Chinese visa pages
  • All Chinese stamp pages

2. Alien Employment Permit or Foreign Expert Certificate

Before APR 1st 2017, Alien Employment Permit was issued to foreign employee for company, and Foreign Expert Certificate was issued to foreign teacher for school/college/university or foreign engineer.

After APR 1st 2017, the Foreigner's Work Permt is issued to replace the former Alien Employment Permit and Foreign Expert Certificate.

3. Graduation Certificate

Only for China PCC applicants who studied in China.

We don't need the English version, Graduation Certificate in Chinese please.

4. Power of Attorney

It also be called as the Letter of Authorization.

The one should be composed in Chinese, and signed by the China PCC applicant.

5. Accommodation Registration Form

Formerly called as Registration Form of Temporary Residence in Beijing.

Currently, Registration Form of Temporary Residence is still issued in some Chinese cities.
